Incorporating yoga facilitates active recovery while improving your mobility, flexibility, focus, breathing, awareness, proprioception and ultimately performance. 
Athletes live In a world full of messages that scream "it has to hurt to work” or “no pain, no gain.”  While that may be true if you’re maxing out your deadlift or crushing hill sprints to improve your 40 yard dash, it’s NOT true when it comes to keeping your body healthy so you can perform at a high level.  
Yoga will have you feeling your best physically and mentally.  An intentional movement practice is vital to helping you slow down your nervous system, step out of that fight or flight mode, and tap into a deeper level.  When you’re finished you will feel rested, restored, more mobile and primed to perform.
